Power Up - Stress Release Through Manifestation Via Conscious Relaxation

Feeling more powerful, more in control of the choices you make is the first step in releasing stress.

Try this: After a 12 hour day when not a lot went your way, say this affirmation with conviction:

"I am completely confident in my ability to create more money as needed."

Not so easy is it---to be able to genuinely speak those words out loud when you're feeling depleted? In order for your life vision to have the laser beam focus it needs, you have to be connected to your power source. In order to create your hearts desire, you have to be able to feel it as if you already had it. This focused attention on what doesn't actually yet exists requires a lot of energy; it's a form of mental mastery that takes practice. Exercising this manifestation muscle will increase your ability to create more of what you want to experience in your life.

Financial stress is depleting. It's a downward spiral that pushes towards doing more and more as if that could really make the difference. Eventually most everyone hits their wall, and realizes they just can't do anymore. Maybe they get sick before that realization has a chance to surface. There's a saying that illness is the western form of meditation. I thought how true that is until I noticed that most people in the hospital spend their day watching T.V.  While it may be true laughter is the best medicine, most programming cultivates more stress.

So what else can you do when you're too tired to do anything but watch T.V.? How could you use your free time to recharge your internal batteries, to power up?

If I'm too tired to take a walk in nature, then I'll just lie on the ground and absorb the good vibes that way. Of course, movement and deep breathing is the best way to keep your energy flowing. I've often surprised myself when I thought I didn't have the energy to run or even walk; when I had a friend lined up to go with, I somehow managed to have enough energy to follow through on my commitment and 30 minutes later was amazed at how much more energy I now had! The buddy system works great!

What if it's raining or snowing or just too darn cold to be outside? Then, I go to my mental training sessions. I have a variety of these, some CD's, some MP3's and even a website or two where I know I can go to consistently find positive material to feed my mind and spirit.

Recently I've been watching a weekly action adventure show with my friend's son. Afterwards, I have the most disturbing dreams and images going through my mind all night. Forget the news and all those repetitive fear-based shows!
