Is freebiejeebies a scam?

An article about freebiejeebies, to find out whether it is a scam or not.

March 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Is freebiejeebies a scam? I decided to find out for myself, I took the risk and signed up. I’ll walk you through how the process went for me, and explain how you can do it too!

Signing up.

Signing up was a painless process, enter your email address (Your email address is kept safe, don’t worry! If you really are worried you could set up another email address, but this is extremely unnecessary!) and also enter your home address (again don’t worry, this is kept safe. Make sure it is correct as this is where your gift will be sent to!) That’s it for signing up!

Completing an offer

I was then invited to take part in an offer. There was a large selection of offers and the one I picked was the LoveFilm 2 week free trial. If you’ve seen the LoveFilm adverts on TV you’ll know what this is, you receive DVDs in the post, watch them and send them back. Free postage, no late charges, it’s a great service. To sign up you will need to give LoveFilm billing information in case you choose to carry on the service after the 2 week free trial. On my account status it changed to “pending” and had to wait a week or two for it to change to “completed”.

Referring friends

For my gift I needed 8 referrals. If you don’t think you can get this many you can choose a gift from as little as 2 friends, and don’t worry you can change your gift during any point! I spent a few weeks convincing my friends that this really works (which was quite hard, most thought it was a scam, which is why I set up this website!). In under a month I had all 8 friends sign up. Most completed the LoveFilm offer like I did, as they had seen me do it and wanted to sign up to it anyway!

Time to order my gift!

I then submitted my account for verification. This is where freebiejeebies make sure you’ve followed the rules and not cheated! It was verified by the next day and my order was placed! The rules are outlined here: Rules. One rule a lot of people seem to break is signing up for themselves pretending to be their friend. Do not do this! FreebieJeebies can tell from your IP address amongst other things and you won’t receive your gift if you break it!

My iPod arrives!

A week later my iPod touch arrived in the post! It was ordered brand new from Amazon.co.uk straight to my doorstep.
