Rollerbladers for Cancer Headed for El Paso: Skating Through Marathon and Alpine This Weekend
Two athletes are rollerblading across the United States, from St. Augustine, Florida, to San Diego, California, in an attempt to raise awareness and at least $1,000,000 for blood cancer and Huntington's Disease.
"The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is extremely grateful to Dan Bowen and Steven Feigenbaum for their tremendous effort. Their journey is doing a great job of raising awareness for the need to support research for blood cancer and Huntington's Disease. Their decision to take on this challenge is truly inspirational and it seems like they're having quite a bit of fun while also doing something significant for two very important causes." Once the team passes through Marathon and Alpine, they will continue towards El Paso through Fort Davis, Kent, Van Horn, Sierra Bianca, Esperanza, McNary, Acala, Tornillo and Fabens. The team is inviting media members to join in on the rollerblading;
