Follow on Google News | Benkelman NE Premature Twin Girls Graduated From High-Risk NICUPremature twin girls Jerri and Aspen Clark were moved from High-Risk NICU to Graduate NICU yesterday (03.16.2010) evening. They have both put on weight and their health is improving on a regular basis.
By: Scott Hammack (Brother-in-law) Jerri 's weight is up to 2lbs 9 ounces, and Aspen's weight is up to 2lbs 8 ounces, and both girls are down to 3 liters of oxygen. Contrary to some rumors, the girls will come home with oxygen only if it is needed, which at this point may not be necessary by their release date. Another bit of good news is that the girls may not have to stay in the hospital until their original due date, but this is contingent on each girls individual continued progress. It's with an achy heart that we bid fair well to Bob this weekend. It's no easy decision for Bob to leave Erika at the Ronald McDonald House, and the girls still in the hospital in Denver, but Bob has to return home to Benkelman this Saturday (03.20.2010) While Erika has a pretty regular flow of family and friends calling and visiting at the Ronald McDonald House lets all please make a concerted effort to come show your support at the Clark Family Website this weekend: http://www.clarkfamilytoday.com and share some words of comfort and or leave a donation to help out this family in its time of need. Cards and notes can be mailed to: Ronald McDonald House of Charities of Denver, Inc. Attention: Erika and Bob Clark Room # 3F 1300 East 21st Ave Denver, Co 80205-5218 End
