Bi-lingual Volunteers needed for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Florida

March 17, 2010 - PRLog -- The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Florida is holding a Volunteer Information Session at their Bonita Springs office on Monday, April 19th. Registration begins at 5:45 P.M. and  the session will begin at 6:00 P.M.

“Volunteer recruitment is such a vital part of our organization and the Foundation is in dire need of bi-lingual (Spanish and or Creole) volunteers,” said Judith Yevick, West Coast Operations Manager.  “We need people who are interested in being wish-granters. The second need that we have is for people who will take a leadership role in fundraising and help by chairing a committee, acquiring sponsorships, collecting auction items and other such jobs.”

Anyone can attend this meeting to find out more about volunteering, as there are many open volunteer positions, and help is always needed and appreciated.  Those wishing to attend must RSVP by phone 239-992-9474 or email JYevick@sflawish.org.  The volunteer session/meeting will be held at 3635 Bonita Beach Road, Suite #4 in Bonita Springs.
