Military T-Shirts and Design at Vision-Strike-Wear.Com

March 16, 2010 - PRLog -- For the last 2 years Vision-Strike-Wear.Com has been designing military t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, decals and patches for the modern soldier.

Soldiers have emailed them and asked for cutting edge designs that they have been very proud to design and print for them.

They created their company to give them something they could not or did not find elsewhere. Unique military t-shirt design!

In recent months they were approached by the Marine Corps requesting that they remove their many wonderful designs from their website at http://www.vision-strike-wear.com  in the hopes of having them participate as an active member of their group of licensees. What  was not made clear to them was the amount  of difficulty in achieving this. It was and has always been their intention to work with the USMC including the Pentagon. It is why they are here.

Only after several attempts to design and pass muster with the Marine Corps did they continue to find increasing levels of a lack of cooperation with the Marine Corps. They were told even after being approached by numerous USMC units to produce their designs, that they could longer use this countries beloved Eagle, Globe and Anchor unless it was with USMC consent and only after a very lengthy approval process and many changes to the  over 1000 designs resulting in the possibly of them closing their doors. Who can wait for a government entity to make a decision much less become art critics?

Of course the Marine Corps has no interest in hurting our business or the thousands of companies that received licensee documentation or those wishing to make a living in with  wonderful products and services and the use of the EGA. However, when they were told that designs they had done for other branches or international military interests had to pass muster with the Marine Corps they had to decline. They were specifically told that everything viewed on their website regardless of branch or interest had to come with their approval they felt enough was enough. Little people, like the O factor, with big egos wanted too much and enough quite frankly is enough. In today's economy hasn't our government done enough?

They understand as a company it is extremely important to show the professionalism and zeal for excellence that is the USMC but we also understand that sometimes too much is really too much and our military does not need to be a commercial and enterprising endeavor or place extraordinary pressure on those wishing to display the EGA on their products for sale to the public whose very support they receive from all us. We are still citizens of this country last time we checked?

So what does a company do under the circumstances? They Improvise. They Overcome. They Adapt.

Building on designs that are outside the Marine Corps trademark was the solution. By no means does Vision-Strike-Wear.Com wish to discredit or even compete with the interests of the Marine Corps.
