March 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Ash Vale UK: We spend a third of our lives sleeping and that is why during national bed month, Vale Furnishers (www.valefurnishers.co.uk) is making it their priority to give customers sound advice on how to get the best out of their beds. Recognising the importance that sleep has on total health and well being, Vale Furnishers is happy to celebrate national bed month and raise awareness of the factors needed for a restful sleep.

There is a wide array of mattresses to choose from, making it quite difficult for people to select the perfect one to suit them.  Vale Furnishers is advising customers to consider their individual needs when purchasing a bed and take the following considerations into account:
1.   Existing medical conditions, allergies, back problems, snoring
2.   Type of mattress, sprung or memory foam or a combination
3.   Size of bed and mattress, how it will fit into the bedroom
4.   Quality of the materials used
5.   Practicality as well as design.
Vale Furnishers advise customers to extensively research the product range on offer before buying a mattress. According to staff at Vale, customers should determine their price range and visit the store to try out the different mattresses available. Most importantly Vale Furnishers advise customers to try a large selection of beds before buying, and to spend as much time as needed trying out the various mattresses in store.

Once customers have determined which mattress is the best fit for their needs, they should be sure to ask a salesperson about how to properly care for their new mattress.

Mark Chandler, director at Vale Furnishers, describes why national bed month is important: “I am always amazed at how many customers come into the store having suffered from poor sleep over long periods of time. A bad night’s sleep can be so easy to solve by finding a bed tailored to individual needs and preferences – getting the right bed can make all the difference. At Vale Furnishers, we stock a large range of world class mattresses and beds including TEMPUR® (http://www.valefurnishers.co.uk/list.asp?type=Brand&strin...), who were (voted Best Mattress in a new Which? Report) and Harrisons, who source their own wool and other materials through their own farm.”

For more advice / information customers should visit the Vale Furnishers website (www.valefurnishers.co.uk) or, come and try the products out at the store in Ash Vale.
