March 10, 2010 - PRLog -- We have developed a marketable, advanced earthquake early warning and security device for private homes, schools, hospitals, small village warning, apartments, hotels, skyscrapers and the industry market. Based on the P-wave detection and analysis this system is able to warn the people in the endangered regions and to shut off all systems on time before the destructive S-wave of the earthquake follows. The system activates an alarm if preset thresholds are exceeded. The function ability of the system was extensively and positively tested by our cooperation partner the GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam, Germany.
Chile: Our system in the German school in Santiago de Chile given alarm 15 up to 20 seconds before the S-wave reached the school on 27th of Februar 2010. Then start the shaking of the earthquake. After a minute the highlight of the earthquake was. The warning time was around 1 minute.
Haiti: We have installed an advanced earthquake early warning system as a public advanced early warning system (environment around 3000 meters) after the earthquake in Haiti on the 29th of January 2010. On 23th of February 2010 an aftershock (4.7 Magnitude) happened and the system has given alarm and has warned around 5000 humans.
Pakistan: We have installed 4 systems for "village warning" in Pakistan/ Cashmere in cooperation with the Federal Foreign Office of Germany "Human Aid" and “Malteser International” in January 2009. A large earthquake of the Magnitude 5.4 happened in the region on 20th of February 2009 and all the installed systems have given an alarm before the destructive S-Wave has reached the people.
El Salvador: In the German school in El Salvador the system has already put its function suitability under proof and aroused an earthquake alarm at an earthquake on April 4th, 2008, too. The epicentre of the earthquake with a Magnitude 6.1 Richter scale was located in Guatemala approx. 150 km away from the school.
These positive results led to additional orders from the foreign ministry places for German Embassies, Consulates and other German Houses.
The basis for the practical realization of the projects is the positive scientific test notification of the GeoForschungsZentrum (GFZ) Potsdam.
Meanwhile, the system is installed in 16 different, earthquake-threatened countries. A proof of the fact that the responsible disaster control managers slowly but surely have recognised the need to take precaution measures for the protection against earthquake. Therefore, within the scope of the preventive earthquake protection advanced earthquake early warning systems should be considered in all future national and international projects also with national and international relief organizations.
Reference projects in Afghanistan, Chile, China, Germany, Greece, Haiti, Indonesia, Iran, India, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Pakistan, Peru, San Salvador, Taiwan and United States.
2006 the product became the "W.I.N. AWARD 2006" as the best product innovation in Germany by "partner for innovations".
