Dierks Bentley Music and Miles Ride for kids

Ride supports Children’s Medical Center (Dallas) and Cook Children’s Medical Center (Ft. Worth) – both are Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals.

March 6, 2010 - PRLog -- On Sunday, April 25, 2010, Harley-Davidson of North Texas will organize the ride which is expected to have 500+ riders.  The ride will end at Billy Bob’s in the Fort Worth Stockyards.  Registration starts at 11:00 AM with the bike ride departing at 2:00 PM.  Dierks Bentley and other Texas country artists will participate in the ride.  The concert will include several well-known Texas country bands (to be surprise guests) with Dierks Bentley as the headline act.  The concert will be held inside Billy Bob’s Texas.  Music begins at 2:00-2:30 PM, and will end sometime around 8:00 pm.  Concert promoters, along with Billy Bob’s management, anticipate full capacity of 5500.

Since 2006, award winning songwriter and country music sensation, Dierks Bentley, has raised over $500,000 for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt with his Miles & Music for Kids, a celebrity motorcycle ride and benefit concert in Nashville, TN.  This program has been expanded to include a few other US cities in 2010, including Dallas/Fort Worth.   This year marks our first year as a host of the Dierks Bentley Music and Miles ride for kids.    


Tickets started going on sale March 1 through ticket master:  General public will pay:
   $20 GA  concert
   $35 reserved concert seat
   $50 – for ride and GA concert
   $65 – for ride and reserved concert seat
   $150 for VIP concert ticket including food, 3 beer or wine tickets & an event t-shirt
   $300 Ride VIP includes riding in the pack with the artists food & non alcoholic beverages at dealership, VIP concert seats food and 3 beer or wine tickets & an event t-shirt.
Billy Bob’s will charge $5 for parking to anyone not participating in the bike ride

Proceeds from the registration fess for the bike ride, concert tickets, and a percentage of drink sales will go to benefit Children’s Medical Center (Dallas) and Cook Children’s Medical Center (Ft. Worth) – both are Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals.  The event has raised over $200K in the past when done in other markets.
