Number one: She has the overall ability to set, pursue, and attain achievable administrative assistant goals. These goals should be relevant, realistic, and attainable. She identifies and implements required plans and milestones in order to achieve specific business goals, initiates activity toward goals without unnecessary delay, and stays on target to complete goals regardless of obstacles or adverse circumstances.

Number two: She exhibits flexibility. She has the ability to readily modify, respond to, and integrate change with minimal personal resistance. She is able to adapt effectively to changing plans and priorities, demonstrates the capacity to handle multiple tasks at a time, deals with ambiguity in a comfortable way, and is able to adjust preset plans as necessary.

Number three: She exhibits personal accountability, having the capacity to be answerable for personal actions. She is able to accept personal responsibility for the consequences of her actions, avoids placing unnecessary blame on others, and is committed to the objectives of the organization regardless of the success or failure of personal decisions. She learns from her mistakes, and applies lessons learned from them to moving forward in achieving future successes.

Number four: She has the ability to initiate and sustain momentum without external stimulation. Put simply, she is independent and takes initiative. Number five: She has the ability to identify the actions that are necessary in order to complete tasks and to obtain results. She identifies and acts on removing potential obstacles to successful goal attainment, and maintains her focus on administrative assistant goals at all times.
