Eureka Springs Souper Soup Benefit Follows Victorian Classic

A great meal at a great price, and it benefits the Eureka Springs Historical Museum
March 5, 2010 - PRLog -- (EUREKA SPRINGS, AR) – Plans have been announced to expand the traditional SOUPER SOUP benefit meal following the Victorian Classic races on Saturday, Mar. 13 at the Eureka Springs High School cafeteria. The expanded serving hours this year are from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The event is one of the major fundraisers each year for the Eureka Springs Historical Museum.
According to event organizer Sara Armellini, “People asked that we expand the hours, and it’s no wonder considering that the area’s finest restaurants provide such delicious soups in a variety of sumptuous flavors.” The lunch includes two bowls of soup, cornbread, a beverage, “and a choice of delectable desert prepared by local Bed & Breakfast establishments,” Armellini added. She concluded, “If there’s a better way to help the museum than to enjoy this amazing food at such a great price, I’d like to know about it!”
Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12.  Tickets are available at the museum, 95 S. Main St., at the door, or from any museum board member.
The high school is located on Highway 62 West across from the Inn of the Ozarks, where the Victorian Classic races will begin and end.
