March 3, 2010 - PRLog -- Claire Watt-Smith, the Founder of BoBelle London, www.bobelle.co.uk, has been named as one of the ‘20 Red Hot Women under 30’.

Claire Watt-Smith founded BoBelle London with the goal to develop a brand that sold ethically produced yet fashionable, durable and sophisticated fashion accessories. As such, currently all of the fashion accessories at BoBelle London are hand made using eel skin leather. This unique, luxurious and gorgeous leather is perfect for accessories. Being a by-product of the food industry in Asia, the eels are extensively farmed for their meat and the skin is discarded. It is wonderful to put this otherwise wasted product to good use.

New designs for SS10 can be seen at www.bobelle.co.uk. Having being stocked with Fenwick’s department store in Brent Cross, BoBelle London hope to expand further this year.

You can view the collection at www.bobelle.co.uk or contact the Sales Team to see where your nearest stockist is. Having only been wholesaling just 6 months, BoBelle London can be found in over 50 boutiques across the UK and Ireland. Claire Watt-Smith has been busy growing the brand and has recently been awarded Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts, as well as Top 100 Entrepreneurs as voted by Striding Out. This month she was nominated as one of the Top 20 Red Hot Women Under 30 by Red Magazine, as well as Enterprising Britain by The Daily Mail.

BoBelle London is the supplier of ethically produced fashion accessories. Each accessory at BoBelle London is lovingly made, hand made and hand dyed. Currently we use eels skin leather which is a by-product of the food industry in Asia where eels are extensively farmed for their meat and the skin is discarded. It is a viable alternative to other exotic leathers, such as crocodile skin and snakeskin, which are primarily killed for their skin alone. Eels are a valuable source of nutrition in Asia and the leather we use would otherwise go to waste.
