PRLog -- Agoura Hills, CA: Start barking the news! Camp Bow Wow® Agoura Hills is celebrating its Grand Opening with a Dog-Gone-Wild Hoedown on Saturday, March 13th from 10am to 2pm. All handsome hounds, dashing dogs, motley mutts and their human families are invited to attend the pawty at the Premier Doggy Day and Overnight Camp at 29348 Roadside Drive located near the intersection of Kanan and Agoura Roads. A howling good time is guaranteed for all. Admission is free.
Top dog and camp owner, Paul Berkovitz is celebrating the grand opening of his 7,000 square-foot, state-of-the-
art digs for dogs with California canine cool. “Camp Bow Wow is all about the dogs,” said Berkovitz, “so we planned the festivities with activities dogs can dig into right along with their families. All dogs are welcome to attend the party even if they haven’t been in for an interview day at camp. They’ll be plenty of action they can get into, but they will have to stay by their owners’ side and on a leash while pups, who’ve been certified as Campers, can run with the packs in our yards.”
What would a party at Camp Bow Wow be without ear-perking attractions?
Make a memory with a pup-trait taken by Paw Prints or commission Faithful Friends Oil Portrait to do an oil painting of your dog. Have a dog that runs when you want him to walk? Talk with trainers from Sit means Sit trainers. Learn about the latest in canine dental care from representatives of Happy Teeth, and doggy health care from Agoura Hills Animal Hospital. Check out the latest in doggy fur-do’s at Aussie Pet Mobile Groomers. Puppy parents can also tour the Camp and register for door prizes while their children enjoy doggy inspired activities and their pups join in doggy games. Hungry humans can satisfy their cravings with tasty treats made by Chef Joey Bell Catering and the Valley Bakery while their canine companions sample natural dog treats from Healthy Pet Agoura Hills & Thousand Oaks. Looking to adopt a new pup-mate? Let us introduce you to our latest Bow Wow Buddies Foster Dog and friends from Labs & Buddies Rescue. Bo Jaxon of KBBY-FM radio will broadcast his show live from the festivities between 11am – 1pm. Kenny Backer Photography will also be on hand to photograph the event.
