Centerline Supply—a one-stop shop for traffic and safety product needs—has supplied the Southlake police department with five of Radarsign’s solar-powered signs.  “The police used these to target five of the city’s speeding and automobile accident ‘hotspots,’” said Vest.  “The Radarsign data-collection software allowed the police department to put officers at key locations during specific times of the day when speeding occurs most often—saving their department time and money.  Since installing the signs, only one auto accident has been recorded and car speeds in the ‘hotspots’ have been reduced to five to seven miles per hour below the posted speed limit.
