Feb. 27, 2010 - PRLog -- Whether they are size 10 or size 18 women are never 100% happy with their bodies – so buying a swimming costume can be one of their most daunting prospects especially as traditional swimwear sizing does little to flatter the female form. Speedo’s Aqualab Global Research Team conducted extensive research into body shapes (scanning 5,400* women) to design the ultimate swimwear collection. Their research findings concluded that female body shapes could be divided into three main categories that together accommodate over 95% of women:

Bust Shaper - created for the fuller busted woman, flattering the bust area and balancing the silhouette.
Waist Shaper - for women with a straight or hourglass figure - to complement natural curves and shape the waist.
Tummy and Hip Sculptor - designed to complement the ‘pear shaped’ woman
