Thinix Patient Infotainment and Mobile Clinical Device Software to be highlighted at HIMSS

Feb. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- February 28th 2010, Milford, IA – Thinix, a leading developer of touchscreen user interface technology is pleased to announce that two of their new software products will be on display at HIMSS.  HIMSS10 is March 1-4 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA, USA.  HIMSS is one of the largest healthcare focused IT events in the world.
The Thinix software will be displayed in the Advantech booth # 4222 on the MICA-101 mobile clinical assistant (MCA) hardware devices and the Advantech PIT-1702 patient infotainment terminal.

The two Thinix products are the Thinix Touch for MCA Devices and Thinix Rx Touchscreen Healthcare Platform.

Thinix Touch for MCA Devices directly addresses the problem of using a touchscreen MCA device with both an operating system that is inherently not designed for finger navigation and with applications that are not always optimized for finger operation.  Thinix Touch™ and leverages the power of Microsoft Windows and extend its usability immensely on the MCA hardware platform.  

Thinix Rx Touchscreen Healthcare Platform is an extensible software platform used in the deployment of patient infotainment devices which are touchscreen bedside computing devices upon which a patient may access entertainment and education content in a simple and secure manner.

Thinix Rx and Thinix Touch are both currently offered for sale bundled with world class hardware options from leading manufacturer Advantech.
