Black Dog Promotions and Club Entrepreneur Join National Effort To Send 200,000 Tents To Haiti

Feb. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Tempe, AZ -- Black Dog Promotions and Club Entrepreneur announced that they will be coordinating the Phoenix area’s tent drive for A Home In Haiti (http://www.ahomeinhaiti.org)

A Home In Haiti is the brainchild on Shaun King the Pastor of Courageous Church in Atlanta. Courageous Church members have brought a whole new meaning to the word "courageous." Responding to the Haitian government’s request for 200,000 tents to house its homeless population, Pastor Shaun King and Courageous Church members are working quickly to get tents and tarps to Haiti by March 1, 2010 though its A Home In Haiti fundraiser.

Scott Kelly of Black Dog Promotions commented on the effort, "A few weeks ago my two boys opened a lemonade stand to help Haiti and raised over $100 in just a few hours. We looked at several organizations that are providing aid to Haiti and we were inspired by the passionate "tweets" of Shaun at Courageous and used the lemonade money to send three tents to Haiti. We are thrilled to be partnering with Club Entrepreneur to help raise awareness of the need and provide shelter to thousands as the rainy season begins in Haiti."

Sonia Graham of Club Entrepreneur commented, "Club E is excited for the opportunity to help Scott Kelly and Black Dog Promotions provide shelter to the thousands of Haitian citizens who have been stranded homeless and without protection. Club E was founded to support and assist entrepreneurs in need; this tent drive is an excellent opportunity for all residents to help those in need of the most basic necessities as a result of the devastating Haitian earthquake."

The two companies will be hosting a tent drive on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 11:00am - 4:00pm at the Club E Office located at 1095 W Rio Salado Pkwy, Ste 104 in Tempe. Supporters on the effort may drop off new or slightly used tents or make cash donations.
