Ceredigion council goes for Parent Information Point Kiosks 2009-12-0113 Free

Feb. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- Ceredigion County Council, in the beautiful Western part of Wales near Aberystwyth, has made the decision to purchase 5 'Parent Information Point' kiosks. Three wall mounted kiosks for integrated CIS locations and two portable kiosks for outreach and youth activity centres. Being part of Wales, it is important to Ceredigion that full bilingual presentation is provided, and this has been achieved throughout the project. Locations for the fixed units include primary schools, children's centres and youth centres.

Parent information point kiosk software is used by parents and carers of children to find information, support and advice on jobs, education, training and childcare. The kiosk software is intuitive and designed to be colourful and fun to use. The kiosks come with sophisticated user statistics and additional functionality.

Each kiosk has a local messaging system whereby local administrators can add information relevant to thier site. A central administrator can also add information which will appear across the kiosk estate.
