Changing The Game- film
Based on the screenplay by award-winning Dir Rel Dowdell, is the gripping story of two childhood friends from a gritty North Philly neighborhood who choose divergent life paths but find themselves facing the same risks and, possibly, the same ending
Armed with an MBA from Columbia, Darrell is recruited by a leading investment house and becomes one of Wall Street’s most charismatic and powerful young players. But a corporate scandal, a corrupt ex-roommate, and a mysterious banker with a unique business service threaten to end his career and possibly his life.
On a trip home to Philadelphia, Darrell recalls the words of his late friend. Taking a page from Machiavelli, he conceives a plan to “evade one’s enemies and gain power” that triggers a climax as explosive as it is unexpected. When the game changes, so does everything you thought you had seen.
Yet again, Dowdell has assembled an enviable cast and written what is sure to be a critically-acclaimed, box office hit! Among his many other credits, Dowdell wrote and directed the number one African-American themed film in 2005 for Sony Pictures, “Train Ride” which grossed over $20 million in revenues.
Philly First Entertainment will begin filming “Changing the Game” in April 2010 in Philadelphia. The project has already gained recognition from the Greater Philadelphia Film Office (GPFO.)
Changing The Game will keep you on the edge of your seat with its suspenseful and chilling dialogue. It is sure to be a universally satisfying must see film for 2010!

Irma Hall is an award-winning veteran American actress, who has appeared in numerous films and television shows since the 1970s. She is best known for playing matriarchal figures the films A Family Thing, Soul Food and The Ladykillers. She won the Chicago Film Critics Association Award and the Kansas City Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actress. The success of that film helped launch Hall's career as a major supporting actor in the late- 90's and early 2000s.
Actor, Brandon Ruckdashel (Marty Levine)
Brandon is currently starring in the HBO Cinemax series Coed Confidential, now in its fourth season. Coed has an audience of 5 million young adults and is one of the network's most popular shows. Brandon is also well known for his stage work. Anita Gates wrote about his performance in the play Ascension " 23-year-old Mr. Ruckdashel is making his Off Broadway debut and it is a stunning one. This is partly because he has the intense blond good looks of a young Brad Pitt with a soupçon of James Dean.
