Gas Price Prediction for Las Vegas, Nevada via E-mail Every Day!

Subscribers can receive the next day's gas prices for Las Vegas via e-mail every business day starting Monday, Feb. 22. Subscriptions to this and 12 other localities' forecasts, as well as a national forecast, are available from GasPredictor.com.

Feb. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- There are no sure bets in this world, perhaps especially in Las Vegas, but GasPredictor.com's gas price predictions come pretty close.  And starting Monday, February 22, GasPredictor.com's 99% success record will be coming to the Entertainment Capital of the World.

Until now, GasPredictor.com's uncannily accurate predictions have been available for only twelve chosen localities across the U.S.  Las Vegas marks their first expansion of 2010, and the first locality that is not already included in the equally accurate predictions they produce for the United States as a whole.

Starting Monday, February 22, everyone in Las Vegas will be able to save money on gasoline by knowing in advance how much gas will cost tomorrow.  If the price of gas is going up, they will know to fill up on their way home from work.  Or if gas is going down, they can wait one more day and pay less to fill up tomorrow.

Subscribers in twelve other localities across the United States have been taking advantage of the uncanny insights of the daily "Gas Predictor" newsletter from GasPredictor.com for more than a year, and now it's Las Vegas's turn.

The Web site is accepting subscriptions now for daily delivery to start on Monday afternoon, February 22.  But hurry!  Only 2,000 subscriptions are issued for each locality, and when they're gone, they're gone!

GasPredictor.com has a remarkable record of accuracy.  The national edition of the "Gas Predictor" newsletter, which has predicted the direction of movement of gas prices in the U.S. as a whole every business day since November, 2008, has been correct over 99% of the time.  The twelve local editions predict not only whether gas prices will move up or down, but the precise range of prices within a few cents.  Local editions for Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Long Island, Nashua (NH), Oakland, Raleigh, San Diego, Seattle, St. Louis, and Tampa have a better than 99% success rate in predicting whether you would save money by buying gas today or waiting until tomorrow.

The predictions are only accurate for one business day in advance.  GasPredictor.com can tell you how much gas will cost in Las Vegas tomorrow, but not next month.

Subscribers receive the forecasts in their e-mail each business day in the afternoon, in plenty of time to decide whether to fill up on the way home from work.  These forecasts are also posted on the Web site each workday morning, but that only gives you a few hours notice, and in fact, the price may already have gone up before the prediction is published on the Web.

Subscribers to the national edition can convert to any new local editions as they become available, and they even get advance notice of new editions.  For example, subscribers knew about the upcoming Las Vegas edition about two weeks ago.  Because of this, many of the limited number of subscriptions have already been filled even before the Las Vegas edition was available to the public.

The GasPredictor.com team is very excited about the new Las Vegas edition, according to Chuck Bonner, lead analyst.  "Our first twelve local editions were pretty safe for us, since we were just implementing predictions were were already doing for our national forecasts.  Now we're rolling the dice, and where better to do that than in Vegas?"

When asked about future editions, Bonner said, "We've been concentrating on a few refinements to our forecasting algorithm for a few months now - trying to fix that 1% failure rate - and now it's great to be expanding again.  We'll listen to our subscribers and visitors to our Web site to help us decide where to go next."
