Feb. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- The second annual Goddess Festival of Northwest Arkansas takes place during the month of March this year.  More workshops, a bigger space and easier access are just a few of the things that are attracting people from Arkansas and beyond.

The full upcoming events calendar is now live at The Goddess Festival website (http://www.goddessfestival.com) and includes event descriptions, times and locations inside the building.  All events, unless otherwise noted, take place in the Festival space at the East Square Plaza Building in downtown Fayetteville, where the Festival has use of the main floor.  A map is also available on the website.

The first major event is the "Fun Raiser" at the Skatium on College Avenue in Fayetteville on March 1st, which will raise funds for the Festival's expenses.  Other key events include the Art Show Reception on March 4th, the Festival CD Release Party on March 12th, and The Couples Game on March 14th.

With dozens of events, an open atmosphere and a feeling of unity, The 2010 Goddess Festival is sure to enlighten and entertain.  For those traveling in from out of state, more helpful information will be posted soon at http://www.goddessfestival.com.

About the Festival: The Goddess Festival was created in 2008 by a group of women with a passion to discover and celebrate the Goddess in Her many forms and guises, including the Goddess within each of us. The festival is produced by Vick Kelley and Diana Rivers and is assisted by a circle of women who plan and facilitate the various tasks of the Festival.

We are sponsored as a non-profit through the Omni Center for Peace, Justice, and Equality. We are aligned with their efforts towards securing peace, justice, and equality for women and for all persons.
