White House “President” To Receive 2 Top Honors In March

Feb. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Bruno Serato owner and “President” of the Anaheim White House, will be the recipient of two inaugural awards by two different nonprofits during the month of March.  Tickets for both events are available (see below):
   
MEN ALIVE’S COMMUNITY BRIDGE AWARD -- Serato will be awarded the inaugural Community Bridge Award by Men Alive, the fundraising arm of the OC Gay Men’s Chorus at the organization’s Academy Affair on Saturday March 6th at his very own Anaheim White House. Serato will be recognized for his humanitarian work both personally and through his organization, Caterina’s Girls Club.  Future awards will be given to those in the community who personify the Chorus’ aim of "entertaining, educating, bringing healing, joy, community and building bridges to the public at large."  Currently celebrating its 9th season under the direction of Artistic Director Rich Cook, the Chorus of more than 130 singers is focused on being a positive voice and musical influence in the local community. BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS BRUNO SERATO SERVICE TO YOUTH AWARD -- The Boys and Girls Clubs of Anaheim will hold its annual Motel Outreach Gala
on Saturday March 20, 2010 at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel.  The event
will start at 6 pm.  Serato will be presented with a first-ever Bruno Serato Service to Youth Award.  Henceforth, the honor will be bestowed to individuals, businesses or families who have made significant contributions of their time, talent ortreasure to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Anaheim.    “I am honored, make that doubly honored, to receive this recognition by two of my favorite nonprofits,” said Serato.  “I believe strongly in the mission of both organizations and am humbled by the recognition.  I wish them well on their upcoming fundraisers.”
