Writefully Inviting launches Society for Invitation Retailers

Feb. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- February 15, 2010 – Writefully InvitingTM, the first membership site for Invitation Retailers is quietly launching their site today.   While there are many organizations that cater to event planners and others involved in the event industry, there is none dedicated to Invitation Retailers.  And every event begins with an invitation!  So now, you are cordially invited to Writefully InvitingTM, where we are “inviting you to start your business right, because you never get a second chance to make a first impression.”  

You'll discover what it takes to start an invitation business when you download our e-book, and how to avoid some of the pitfalls most retailers make.  And more - you'll finally know how to start building a REAL business and access the resources you need to make it happen.  Our database offers links to hundreds of wholesalers to start your business or resources to create your own line of invitations, and this database is updated regularly.  

Marna Friedman, founder of Writefully InvitingTM  and a former owner of an invitation business, developed the idea when she shopped a trade show and spent most of her time navigating the directory and show site to find resources.  After three days of frustration, she realized that something needed to be done for the Buyers and Exhibitors.  So she also offers a downloadable directory for major industry trade shows in booth order, of Invitation Resources.  Members can download the directory and shop the show in hours, ensuring that they have enough time to meet with all of the vendors they need to see and still explore new opportunities.  They can also download this form in advance and schedule appointments with vendors that are offering that opportunity.
   
Taking advantage of social media and their web presence, Writefully InvitingTM is also offering their members an exclusive online forum where they can ask questions and communicate with each other.  In addition, through the use of social media, Writefully InvitingTM will offer an online chat so that it’s members can gather regularly to offer advice, ask questions and develop relationships.  Our hope is that as relationships are built, so are successful businesses.
As membership in Writefully InvitingTM grows, we plan to offer webinars and educational opportunities for our members.  An annual conference is currently in the planning stages as are several workshops.  We look forward to growing our business as our members grow theirs.
Membership is $249 per year, but until February 28th, membership will be offered at $149 per year.  And the first 25 members will receive a copy of Marna Friedman’s book, EVENTually Perfect, Insider’s Secrets to Event Planning.
