Paudie is a tiny 10-year-old leprechaun no bigger than your finger, who has been given magical powers by his grandfather, King Bill. In fact, all the local leprechauns have the same powers. One day, they are attacked by an evil pirate and Paudie comes to the rescue.

The moral of the story is that all people – or leprechauns, as the case may be – need to pull together when times are tough in order to succeed.

About the Author: Nicholas D. Power works as a registered nurse in Waterford, Ireland. He created Paudie 18 years ago when he was a camp counselor. The author spent many nights telling leprechaun stories to his best friend’s four children, but they kept wanting more. The first book in his series was Paudie’s Magical Adventures. Power dedicates this book to his mother, Gabrielle. He is now at work on his third Paudie book, Paudie’s Foreign Adventures.
