Sandra Shevey Reissues `The Marilyn Scandal`

Feb. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Author Sandra Shevey has reissued `The Marilyn Scandal` via Sandra Shevey Books.  The biography of actress Marilyn Monroe is the only `authorised` Marilyn Monroe biography.

The biography broke ground in 1987 when first published in the UK by Sidgwick and Jackson by alleging a conspiracy by the Kennedys into the death of Marilyn Monroe.

Author Shevey undertook the commission at the urging of Marilyn Monroe`s friends, many of whom she knew in the late Sixties in New York and Los Angeles.  These include Milton Greene, Rupert Allan, Stanley Rubin and others.

The new edition has a new cover (Rorschah impression); no photos of the actress; an updated introduction; and an appendix of letters from those interviewed, all with Sandra`s notes, observations, comments at times of interviews.

`It is absolutely ludicrous`, says Sandra, age 66, `for people who never knew Marilyn and/or her friends/colleagues` to come out with books and screenplays which `tell the real story....It is absolutely ludicrous and one of the real offences of laissez-faire capitalism`.
