Leading Mauritian designer Lida O'Reilly to present Collection during London Fashion Week

Feb. 12, 2010 - PRLog -- The Catwalk Presentation, hosted by La Geneve North Events, will be held on Wednesday February 24 and commence at 9pm sharp.

Lida is a tantamount to elegance and Luxury. A Couturier with a unique vision, Lida takes couture to its Zenith, designing for the elegant and sensual woman. Born in Mauritius, of Indian origin, Lida has always been passionate about fashion and dressmaking.

Lida O'Reilly's collections are glamorous and modern; She blends different cultural influences giving her designs the “metisse and versatile look”.

Launched in 2001, Lida has 5 boutiques to her name across Mauritius with 30 employees, fulfilling her childhood dream of becoming a successful International designer.

“I began in a small garage room with just three people to help me,” says O’Reilly, now one of Mauritius’ most prominent designers.

Known for her sartorial statements in designer gowns, Lida already has a thriving market back home in Mauritius, with European tourists coming back to her not just for beach and casual wear but even for wedding gowns.

Lida O’Reilly will present her new collection to an audience of press, buyers, other fashion professionals and upscale consumers.
