Private Equity Firms are groups of very talented executives that have a large pool of money available to invest in closely held businesses. Their goal is to acquire good businesses and provide management with financial and advisory support to enhance growth. There are many variations involved concerning whether they buy all or a part of the Company, how long they own it and how much mangement they provide depending on circumstances. They often add value to their investment by applying advanced management concepts to smaller businesses that are not as sophisticated.
Many times business owners will conclude that a sale to a key employee (or group) or family members is the right decision for them. We have the skills to walk them through the pros and cons of these transactions as well as efficiently working with their professionals to make it happen.
