The UK`s Biggest Penny Auctions Prize Has Been Won

The regular price of such travel package is £12,500 but the lucky winner paid only £49.99.

Ms Matthews, who spent just £39 bidding on the auction to win it and saving more than £12,000 in the game, is "over the moon" at having won this dream holiday of a lifetime.  "My partner and I are so excited. We couldn't believe it when the bidding tab changed to "Just Gone" with my name next to it. I don't think we have quite touched down yet and are still finding it hard to believe this has happened to us. We have wanted to go to Dubai for a few years now, and cannot believe our dream has become a reality. Bidfella truly do offer ordinary people like us a chance to win big and do things in life that we would not necessarily be able to do."

Her surprise win is only now starting to sink in for Ms Matthews -  "I did win a Nano iPod on one of my free bids. I can honestly say I was delighted then too. The most I have ever won in life is the odd tenner on the lottery and now look at us. We are off to Dubai and I have an iPod I can use whilst lounging around the pool soaking up some rays!!"
