A Spark of Blue Flame - A Mother Searches for Her Daughter in This Magical Tale

Feb. 10, 2010 - PRLog -- In the world of Wry, magic and mystery abound; but this place is also full of great danger. The evil Kylasar has captured Katherine’s daughter, Mandy, and spirited her far away. Kylasar happens to be Mandy’s father, but loses himself when Loche, the God of Chaos, takes control of both his mind and his body. Now Katherine must battle to find and rescue Mandy before it is too late.

During her journey, Katherine finds help from Wren, a Guardian, and Schaeff, a dog that communicates telepathically. She also meets the washed up sorcerer Serhonydd, who had discarded his magic years ago when he refused to become a Blue Sorcerer, the source of all goodness on Wry, like his parents before him.

With the help of her newfound friends, Katherine eventually finds the Blue Sorcerers, and begs them for their help. Using their magic, these powerful sorcerers are able to discover Mandy’s whereabouts, but it is up to Katherine to get to her in time. With all of the dangers lurking around every turn, will she survive long enough to reach her daughter and bring her to safety?

Sandra Stanley-Stone has been writing for most of her life. As a member of an Air Force family, she spent much of her childhood traveling around the world. Eventually, she moved to Texas and taught 6th-8th grade English, inspiring her students with her love of language and the written word. Now retired, she writes full time and has previously published short stories and poems.
