Cities for Vows Presents Uniquely Historic Venue, the John Rutledge House Inn, for your Wedding

This historic inn was built by John Rutledge, a true romantic, for his 19 year old bride.  He was one of the signers of the United States Constitution and this Inn is one of the few remaining homes of the signers of the Constitution and the only one where  guests can stay.

It is the perfect setting for a small, intimate wedding and reception with its beautiful wrought iron railings going up the steps for a grand entrance. Its sidewalk is no ordinary sidewalk but is made up of squares of white marble and black.   It has an intimate courtyard for a summer reception beautifully lit by candlelight.  Its beautifully appointed rooms speak of days gone-by.

Conde' Nast Traveler voted this inn 60th on the Top 100 U.S. Hotel list in 2008.

It’s a special place for the honeymoon couple to stay with its attentive service and special touches such as champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries and wonderful high beds.
