Good Samaritan in Delmar Receives Alzheimer Award
The Northeastern New York Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association recently honored Good Samaritan Lutheran Health Care Center, a 120-bed skilled nursing residence, for raising over $1300 by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk.
Since the 1930s, Good Samaritan, operated by Wartburg Lutheran Services, has been providing residents with the skilled medical, social, and spiritual care needed to live well and maintain personal dignity through purposeful living. Now a fully modern 120-bed residence, our unique Life Enhancing Community in the heart of the Capital District offers highly skilled and compassionate care for people with a broad variety of medical needs, including geriatric rehabilitative services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, orthopedic care, neurological therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, nutritional counseling and therapeutic recreation.
