GTS Telecom finalizes the first faze of the Bucharest DataCenter extension
Bucharest, February 2010 -GTS Telecom part of GTS CE, one of the regional leading telecom operator, completed the first phase of the DataCenter expansion project. The supplementary collocation area is about 150sqm, corresponding to 70 racks.

The DataCenter is build on top of the GTS Telecom backbone in Bucharest with a 82.5 Gbit/sec bandwidth, and interconnected throughout the national infrastructure and the GTS CE fibre optic network, directly to the European interconnection points in Frankfurt and Vienna. The management of the hosted applications and equipments is made directly over the Internet or from the Console Room already available in the DataCenter.
