At The Secret Garden we are passionate about the environment. We believe in organic gardening methods and look to support Irish biodiversity through wildlife friendly planting schemes and reduced use of harmful herbicides and pesticides. For this reason we  altered our onsite practices and the  range of products we sell  truly reflects our environmental values.

For this reason we strive to sell products which have been certified as organic or choose suppliers who take on environmental concerns. For example our wildlife products  are made from either reclaimed or FSC certified timber and are finished with waterbased paints and stains which are good for the people who make them, and good for animal, bird and insect tenants that move in!

The online garden centre widens our market to the whole of Ireland with affordable delivery costs, the shop is fully secure and means you can browse our range in the comfort and warmth of your home.

This Secret Garden has also just been shortlisted for the following categories The Green Retailer Award and The Green Small To Medium Enterprise Award in The Green Awards 2009/10 in recognition of their environmental stance.The awards are due to be announced on 11th March 2010 at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin.
