For most people, studying and the lead up to exams can be stressful.  The pressure to remember and then deliver a term or even a year’s knowledge on a subject on a few pages in just a short period of time can sometimes seem insurmountable. It can be GCSEs, A-Levels, University Degrees the pressure can seem to grow with time. Sometimes we search for ways to distract ourselves and procrastination can become a destructive alternative.
But you don’t need to worry as help is at hand…
Scientific Research has proven that not only exams are stressful (like we needed telling) but also that there are effective ways of reducing that stress. But wait it gets better…


Researchers at Imperial College studied the impact of Self-Hypnosis techniques and Johrei (a Japanese procedure for Stress reduction) on students at exam time and they found that compared to a control group the Self-Hypnosis and the Johrei groups both benefited from reduced stress and better immunity to illness!
This isn’t just some anecdotal or survey based research (you know at innervision we like our research) – they actually measured chemicals and processes in the body and can quantify the results.
