Feb. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- The Refinements, a popular ska cover band from North London, will be bringing the classic sound of two tone ska back to its roots on Sunday 7th February as they play a gig at Leicester's legendary Shed.

The band, considered among the top ska tributes in the UK, are playing the showcase gig in the hope of playing on the main stage at this Summer's Glastonbudget festival; a huge annual event that takes its name and ethos from the Glastonbury festival, but highlights talented cover bands and unsigned bands.

"We're really looking forward to playing bigger gigs this year" explained keyboard player Chris Moffatt. "We're playing a gig alongside Buster Bloodvessel in March, so things keep on getting better for the band. There's a huge appetite for this music - it's great to dance to but there are serious messages behind it that are still relevant today".

The band will be supported at The Shed by other cover bands such as Samtana (a Santana tribute) as well as unsigned bands such as Midlands locals Dinky.
