Feb. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- CHINESE New Year is just around the corner and there is a new tune to the festive songs we hear this season. Adding to a fresh spice of greetings alongside with personalised e-cards and animation for corporations sending out to their customers, there is now a new demand for personalised Chinese New Year songs.

A Spring Singapore supported startup company (under the Young Entrepreneur Startup fund), Express In Music has been actively composing personalised original songs for companies who wishes to express themselves uniquely towards their clients. It is their first year receiving such requests to compose original music for greeting purpose. Co-founder, Mr Jerry Chen said “We received requests for song personalisation in the area of branding, video productions, games and television commercials. But this year besides receiving requests from couples who wishes to deliver romantic customised love songs to their partners on Valentine’s Day, we have receive an equal number of request from companies to personalise a song with their greetings.”

Marketing communications director, Mr Chan of Bire Consultancy agrees that this way of communicating well wishes actually makes it more sincere and unique, he says “We like to thank our customers who had been supporting us for the past few years and wish to send our appreciation message through this song.”

To make it a more complete and wholesome experience, the company had collaborated with online animation card producers like Cartoon Tech as well as video production companies doing Chinese New Year greetings. The injection of a personalised message in the music plays a role in evoking the right emotions and feelings that can convey the well wishes in a better medium.

Besides a commercial element involved, Express In Music holds a social cause in play to support Asian musicians especially those in Singapore. Opportunities like these come across to musicians as a form of support and recognition for commercialisation. The company aims to debunk the myth of musicians not able to gain a livelihood out of their passion. Musicians can now look forward to constant ongoing selected commercial projects through the website www.expressinmusic.com.

On one hand a corporate social responsibility (CSR) is formed, on the other hand media companies are able to tap onto a large database of original composer-musicians for submissions. For this festive season ahead, by creating these Chinese New Year music, the musicians certainly have something to cheer about.

How it works:

Upload brief, select track and be heard.

For media advertising, branding consultants, gaming, events, wedding and anyone in the industry that needs effective music personalisation:

1.) Upload Brief. In a summary, tell our pool of more than 1,000 musicians your requirements for the music. (e.g. TV Commercials or the story of your brand etc)

2.) Select Track. Musicians will see it as a contest and submit their music specifically to your requirements. You award the prize money to the deserving winner and get licensing rights for it.

3.) Be Heard. Discover the value through the speed and quality of a mass of musicians composing for you. Your music is now delivered to the medium of your preferred communication.
