This 184-page guidebook, written by current South Florida local Rachel Galvin, takes the readers on journey as Galvin describes her first encounter with Los Angeles as a young girl alone in the big city. Living at first in a roach-infested hostel, she worked her way up, learning as she went along, to becoming an actor, talent manager and working at Universal Studios. She shares her insight, her mistakes and her successes.

Galvin doesn't audition as much anymore. Today, she gets direct bookings more often. She just did a TV pilot in Palm Beach two weeks ago and next weekend will be in a feature film as well as on crew for a feature film!
