What is the difference between amorphous Polycrystalline and Polycrystalline panels?
Amorphous solar panels are created by spraying silicon on to glass in very thin layers (TCO), and are commonly known as thin film solar panels. This process allows them to be better at generating electricity in all lighting conditions, including cloudy or shady environments. Sunforce amorphous solar panels are weatherproof and suitable for outdoor use. They have a maximum operating temperature range of -40 to 176-degrees Fahrenheit, require virtually no maintenance, and are also effective on cloudy days. They can even withstand impacts from one-inch hailstones at 50 miles-per-hour.

Polycrystalline silicon is a material consisting of thin wafers that are cut from a silicon crystal which has grown in several directions. This advanced surface texturing process provides polycrystalline solar panels with a higher power output than amorphous panels of the same dimensions, and makes them more cost and space-effective. These individual wafers are assembled into panels that are covered by durable, weatherproof tempered glass. Thanks to their efficiency and durability, these solar panels require virtually no maintenance once installed.

General Characteristics:
All three products are environment-friendly, generate free and renewable power. The panels convert sunlight into electronic current, they do not store power directly. If you want to store electronic power, please use lead-acid automotive batteries, deep-cycle (traction type) batteries, gel-cell batteries, or heavy-duty (stationary type) batteries. Deep-cycle marine batteries are recommended to use with these panels. These panels need no maintenance one installed. They can be integrated together with compatible products to generate more power. The panels are under 25 years warranty but not the compatible devices.
Differences
Sunforce 50044 has built-in blocking diode, while Sunforce 39810, Sunforce 39110 need a compatible charge controller, which is sold separately from the main products. Other accessories are free with the main products.
Sunforce 50044 adopts amorphous design while Sunforce 39810, Sunforce 39110 adopts Polycrystalline design. The former is more cost-efficient but has a little lower conversion coefficient.
Sunforce 50044 can work under all kinds of weather conditions whether it is sunny, cloudy, or even very weak light conditions. While Sunforce 39810, Sunforce 39110 are also weather-proof but less efficient with weak light conditions.
Sunforce 50044 needs pvc support while Sunforce 39810, Sunforce 39110 don’t need.
Sunforce 39110 cannot be shipped to APO/FPO, Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico while the other 2 products can be shipping all over the states.

The factors affect solar system design:
1.   Where the system will be located and the solar radiation conditions at the spot;
2.   The load power size;
3.   Output voltage, DC or AC;
4.   System function time each day;
5.   How many days to be supported if there is no sunlight at all;
6.   Load conditions, pure resistive, capacitive, or inductive, starting current.
