Service Helps Christian Pet Owners Prepare for the Survival of their Pets After the Rapture

Jan. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- Sharon Moss, an Indiana Christian, was playing with her two year old Shih Tzu, Petey, when she wondered what would happen to him if the Rapture happened at that moment. She realized he would be alone, locked in her house, with no plans for anyone to help him. She decided, as a good steward of the pets God gave her, she must make plans for Petey.

After discussing this with several Christian friends, Sharon decided there are a lot of Christians with the same concern about their pets. So she created After The Rapture Pet Care to help Christians make arrangements for their pets in case they’re left behind by the Rapture.

Taking a unique approach to Rapture preparation, Sharon has been recruiting non-Christian pet loving volunteers who commit to rescue and care for registered pets if the Rapture does occur. An entire multi-location database server system has been put into place with non-Christian system managers to implement a full scale rescue and care operation if masses of people, including Sharon, disappear all at once. While these non-Christians must keep an open mind about an event they do not believe will ever happen, they all care enough about animals that they're willing to sign up "just in case."

The After The Rapture Pet Care membership fee is normally $24.95 per month for up to three pets. Half the fee is deposited into an FDIC-insured savings account to be untouched either until the Rapture or if a membership is cancelled (such as if a pet passes away before the Rapture). The other half helps with the expenses of setting up this worldwide network of volunteers, building the comprehensive database, and getting the word out to as many Christian pet owners as possible.
