About Martha’s Closet by Martha Choy:

It all started in the spring of 2009 when I took a pair of shoes to a consignment shop across the street. I looked around and saw racks of clothing, shoes and accessories and I laughed. It looked like my home!"

Rather than hauling all of my possessions across the street, I thought it would be easier to sell everything from my home.  Soon, jewelry and beauty designers were knocking on my door, including such names as The Beaded Tortoise, Cheeky Monkey Jewelry by Simon Cardwell, Bogart’s Bijoux, from “Haifa to Acre” Judy’s Joys Wearable Art, fine artists like Portraits and Landscapes by Janice Addams and Portraits by Tortoise Photography have joined our team.  

Just recently, we launched our own private bath, body and fragrance label, "BARE®".

To summarize it all, we are committed to keeping an eye on upscale and innovative design with an eye on "Upper East Side Style®".
