Chocolate Week warms up winter in the LBI Region Feb 6-15, 2010
Kick off Feb 6 with Our Gang's Beans, Biscotti and Broadway, grab a sweet read from Ocean County Library Chocolate Week Reading List, take a chocolate class, enjoy a treat a local restaurant and top it all with a Surfight Sweet Soiree on Feb 15!
Grab your sweetheart and take a chocolate class at Tuckerton Seaport, Minerva's B & B and the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences, drop into Ocean First Bank's Little Egg Harbor branch for a Chocolate Vault event, savor a specality dessert, sample italian chocolate and sip a chocolate cocktail at one of the many particpating restaurants, watch a show with Our Gang and Surflight which features mouthwatering refreshments, treat yourself to a night's stay at a great hotel or win a week's stay when you tour the Beach Club at Pearl Street. Reminisce throught the Wedding Exhibit at Tuckerton Seaport or Hearthrobs and Beatles Exhbits at Unshredded Nostalgia. Stop in on Island Arts of Ship Bottom for Valentine Triva Contest all week long. Looking for a new love nest? Chocolate Week is a series of offers, activities and events that include Valentine's Day and President's Day Weekend, it was created by the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce Destination Marketing Organization to encourage out of area visitors as well as local support.
