sraeli Diamond Portal : Israel ranks 31 in World Bank's Logistics Performance Indicators list

A recent study by the World Bank found overall improvement in nations' logistic and transportation abilities.
 
Jan. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- The World Bank's Logistics Performance Indicators (LPI) ranked Israel 31 out of 155 in the list of economies which showed logistic performance improvement. Topping the list was Germany, Singapore took second place, Sweden ranked fourth, and Holland rounded up the top five.


According to the report, Israel’s overall LPI score was 3.41, or 77% of the highest score, achieved by Germany. Israel was followed by Bahrain (32), and Lebanon (33).  


Rankings were determined using six categories: Customs, Infrastructure, International Shipments, Logistics Quality and Competence, Tracking and Tracing and Timeliness. Israel's rankings in each category were (respectively) 35, 24, 42, 27, 38 and 46.
