St. Nicks Alliance announces the launch of Lunch n Learn Webinar

Jan. 25, 2010 - PRLog -- St. Nicks Brooklyn Business Center (BBC), the business services arm of St. Nicks Alliance, plans to launch a Lunch n Learn Webinar series. These webinars will cater to entrepreneurs and small business owners in North Brooklyn and neighborhood. The webinars will focus on financial literacy and will cover all important topics on marketing, operations and success planning that will help entrepreneurs and small business owners learn essential information about successfully building and establishing their businesses. These series of webinars will feature renowned speakers from organizations such as Bank of America, Brooklyn Cooperative, IRS, Internal Business Consulting etc. who are experts in their respective fields and impart Financial Literacy.

These webinars will be hosted every Tuesday starting February 1, 2010 until June 30, 2010 from 12 pm to 1 pm. They will be held live at BBC office at 11, Catherine Street, 3rd Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11211.

The online invitation is open to all small business owners, but, graduates of the Entrepreneur Assistant Program 60 hour program have an exclusive invitation to sit through the webinar and personally meet the speakers. “This is a great opportunity for all the entrepreneurs and small business owners to understand and learn about the important aspects of financial management for their business” said, Ernie Spears Small Business Development Manager at BBC. “The webinars will help them secure funding in today's tough environment”, he said. The following topics will be covered in the Webinars - QuickBooks Beginner, What Bankers want to see, How to raise money from friends, angels, and venture capital firms and Understanding Financials: P&L Projections (Distinguishing b/t Cash Flow & P&L).

Webinars are useful as a large, live audience can be reached without traditional limitations. All that will be needed to access BBC’s webinars is a computer with internet access. They will also be available later on BBC’s website for viewing online. The launch of the Lunch n Learn series goes hand in hand with the launch of BBC’s state of the art new website which will have interactive Web 2.0 features including Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), Videos, Real Estate Listing, Discussion Forums, Blogs, RSS feeds etc. The website has been enhanced keeping our small business owners in mind to improve navigation, increase flexibility, quick download and provide fresh content.
