Sofa Assembly Record set by 87 year old Texan.

Jan. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- John B., age 87, of San Marcus, TX, became the oldest Simplicity Sofas customer to assemble a full-size sofa without assistance. When asked if he completed the assembly within the company's estimated 15 minute time period, he stated, "Well I didn't time it, but it didn't take long."

Mr. B. takes over the individual assembly age record from an 80 year old woman, also from Texas.

At the other end of the age spectrum, the record for the youngest person to assemble a Simplicity Sofa goes to Adam F., age 13.  Adam also holds the record for the fastest assembly time for a full-size sofa by a single person -- 6 minutes, 57 seconds. (He was officially timed in the Simplicity Sofas showroom in November, 2007 and his record has gone unchallenged.)
