Cancer Patients Alliance Awarded Google Grant to Help Raise Pancreatic Cancer Awareness

Cancer Patients Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to promoting awareness, increasing funds, and furthering pancreatic cancer research, has been named a Google Grants recipient of up to $10,000 monthly in online-advertising.

Jan. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- Pacific Grove, CA – January 15, 2010 – Cancer Patients Alliance announced that they have been selected as a Google Grants recipient, and will be awarded an online advertising grant valued up to $10,000 monthly.  The Google Grants program empowers select charitable organizations to achieve their goals by helping them promote their websites via advertising within the Google Adwords program.

Cancer Patients Alliance is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization whose mission is to promote awareness, increase funds, and further research aimed at pancreatic cancer. “This online advertising grant from Google couldn’t have come at a better time, “says Candice San Juan, Event Coordinator for the foundation.  “We hope to utilize the maximum effectiveness of the grant to drive additional visitors to our website, generate greater awareness for the cause, and increase our fundraising efforts.”
