The Cellar To Sponsor Haitian Relief Week Jan 24 – 31

(All Profits To Benefit Partners In Health To Bring Medical Care To Victims)

Jan. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- In an effort to bring much-needed medical relief to the victims of last week’s devastating earthquake in Haiti, The Cellar, a fine dining establishment in Fullerton, is sponsoring Haitian Relief Week January 24 – 31.  According to Ryan Dudley, proprietor of the highly acclaimed restaurant, all profits from the week’s take will be donated to Partners in Health, a nonprofit that brings modern medical care to poorer nations throughout the world including Haiti, where they’ve provided care for more than 20 years.

“Each day we’re seeing horrific images of people facing tragedy at every turn – people buried under the rubble or injured by falling debris – and the numbers requiring medical attention are staggering,” said Dudley, who said that Partners In Health organizes the efforts of 11,000 healthcare providers around the world to fulfill their mission of providing modern medical care to poor communities. “I learned about Partners In Health and the extraordinary work they perform in bringing medical attention to those in developing nations.  They really need our help right now in Haiti as the casualties continue to mount.  I am hoping that people will support our cause.”
