Jan. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- Stamford, CT – Scott D. Michel, President of Caplin & Drysdale, an internationally recognized expert in handling voluntary disclosures and audits, will discuss U.S. tax policy covering undeclared overseas accounts and investments on February 10 at the World Affairs Forum’s event at UCONN/Stamford.  The evening starts at 6:15 P.M. with networking and refreshments followed by the lecture from 6:45 to 8:00 P.M.

Scott Michel has made frequent appearances in Switzerland for presentations on IRS enforcement to multiple law firms, bankers and financial advisors.  He also advises and represents individuals and corporations nationwide in sensitive civil tax examinations, complex tax shelter matters and corporate internal investigations of tax related matters.  Extensively quoted in the media, including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Bloomberg, he has also appeared on FoxNews and ABC News.
