Anaheim White House Holds Haitian Relief Event Friday, Jan 22

(All Proceeds From Lasagna Dinner To Benefit Relief Efforts)

Jan. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- With more than 200,000 reported dead and 1.5 million homeless, the Haitian people are desperate for our help.  In an effort to galvanize the local community and raise funds for those devastated by the catastrophic earthquake, Bruno Serato, owner of the Anaheim White House, is organizing An Evening For Haiti on Friday, January 22 in the restaurant’s newly opened West Wing.  Starting at 7 p.m., guests making a minimum $25 donation will enjoy a dinner of salad and lasagna and watch a star-studded telethon hosted by Hollywood luminaries like George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Aniston on large screen televisions situated around the room.  All proceeds raised from the event will be donated to the American Red Cross.
“The loss and devastation in Haiti is beyond comprehension both horrific and heartbreaking,” said Serato, who is an active fundraiser for many nonprofits including his own Caterina’s Club.  “So many of my friends, family and loyal guests are wondering what we can do to ease the suffering of those affected by this disaster.  I am hoping that people will attend this event despite the fact that they may be facing their own set of challenges during this difficult economic challenge.”
Reservations are encouraged.  Call (714) 772-1381.
Situated in a historic national landmark mansion dating to 1909, the Anaheim White House has been a favorite Orange County fine dining institution since it opened its doors in 1989.  Serato’s nonprofit Caterina’s Club feeds more than 50,000 underprivileged Orange County youngsters each year.
The Anaheim White House is located at 887 South Anaheim Blvd., in Anaheim, Orange County.  To make reservations or for more information, call (714) 772-1381 or visit www.anaheimwhitehouse.com.
