GeBBS Healthcare Solutions, a leading provider of healthcare outsourcing solutions, announced today that it has been awarded the ISO 27001:2005 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS).  GeBBS obtained this prestigious certification from TUVNORD, one of the world's leading independent testing and assessment services firm.

ISO 27001:2005 is an internationally recognized benchmark that ensures appropriate safety controls are set within an organization to safeguard information and intellectual property assets. This certification specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving a documented Information Security Management System within the context of the organization's overall business risks.

TUVNORD certified that GeBBS has indeed established and heretofore maintains an information security management system as designated by the "Statement of Applicability" for the proper management of information.   This security management system governs all Information assets, along with the Information Processing  systems and its enabling functions.
