BDDesign LLC launches new site to showcase self-published authors

Jan. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- BDDesign LLC, the freelance graphic design business of author, publisher, illustrator, and graphic designer Gregory Bernard Banks, in cooperation with bestselling author Edward C. Patterson of Dancaster Creative (www.dancaster.com), has launched a brand new website dedicated to the promotion of self-published and Independent Authors. The Indie Spotlight (www.theindiespotlight.com) is a blog where authors are given the opportunity to tell potential readers about themselves and their books.

"In today's marketplace," says site creator Gregory Banks, "the best way for an author to sell his or her book is to build a personal relationship with the reader. And the questionnaire we provide gives authors a chance to do just that." The Indie Spotlight will feature primarily feature independent and self-published authors and their books, but will also include articles of interest to both readers and authors, interviews with authors, publishers, editors, and others, as well as book reviews from time to time.

The site hopes to be ad supported, providing custom ad spaces for authors and publishers for low, flat-rate monthly fees ranging from $20.00 a month for a premium, high profile banner ad, to $5.00 a month for a smaller, lower profile block ad.
